Mets use 1987 style uniform to honor Keith Hernandez WHAT DOES IT MEAN?

Are 1987 style road uniforms coming back?

While I do kinda like these, NOTHING is better than the current road jerseys so LEAVE STUFF ALONE FOR A CHANGE STEVE YOU DON’T HAVE TO KEEP CHANGING EVERYTHING EVEN THE WILPONS FINALLY FIGURES THAT OUT AT THE END

Anyway…is this a clue?  Or did the social media intern grab hernandez.jpg fro the shared Google Drive under Assets, subfolder Alumni, and didn’t think twice about it?  I bet that.

By the way, in 1986 – you know, that time the Mets won the World Series – Keith had an OPS of .859 with just 13HRs.  In 2023, Pete Alonso (who has won one playoff game in his life during expanded playoffs) had an OPS of .829 this year, and for some reason you guys won’t trade him.

Fools.

Keith Hernandez should be in the Hall of Fame.  Anyone who understands baseball knows why.
