Well, bad news Mets fans. Flushing Phil, the World Series predicting groundhog, saw his shadow this morning at a ceremony at Citi Field.
The groundhog has been very accurate, not predicting a Mets championship since the 1980s. The groundhog said while he is disappointed the Mets won’t win again this season, he is looking forward to redeeming his casino points at the Emoji Burger in Jackson Heights.
