I am a big Lee Mazzilli fan like many Mets fans my age, but the young Dwight Gooden was SO good….like as good as you think Matt Harvey was. I still cannot fathom that he had 60+ wins at age 21 and somehow didn’t get to 200 for his career. That’s another example of why we need to tap the brakes….sometimes players have amazing rookie years and people get all excited and want to start handing out Cs because a player is good at Instagram…..it doesn’t always work out.
