Sure he sounds like he barely wants to be there, but boy Keith brings the entertainment to the SNY booth. Any game missing Keith is 5 times as boring, and Keith can make a ten inning Mets-Marlins game semi-entertaining just by sharing with us that he’s bored too and out of his mind that he can’t go home.
You know the Seinfeld where George hangs out with Elaine (and no Jerry)? That’s what the Gary and Ron booth sounds like. The booth needs Keith.
He also happens to know what he’s talking about when discussing baseball, even if his admitted game prep is a newspaper and sports radio (wow).
