I was out in the yard this morning getting ready for a hot weekend and then it hit me – the reason I haven’t been watching the Mets!
(Well aside from stupid day games and odd start times)
The weather!
I enjoy sitting on my deck with a nice beverage and tweeting with my fellow Meta fans. This spring it has been cold and miserable and I’ve yet to sit outside on a warm evening. Inside, baseball is too boring for to watch so I don’t.
I started to look forward to watching them outside this evening – but alas a stupid west coast trip so no Mets for me.
It’s ok, I really haven’t missed it at all. But that’s another topic.
