When you first walk into the Mets Hall of Fame and Museum you will see a wall of plaques on the left hand side.
The plaques are reminiscent at what you might see at Cooperstown, and the Mets wisely left room to enshrine more heroes.
Here are some more photos of the various Hall of Fame members. Â Click any picture to make it larger.
As a first impression, these go a long way. Â If you’re wondering about the busts that used to be in the Diamond Club at Shea, I was told those would be displayed at a later date. Â In the back of the museum there’s a section of weird modern art things that doesn’t work so well, I wouldn’t have even mentioned it and I am not complaining, but I can imagine the busts going in that display case.
