Guess the worst 2010 free agent signing

Business Insider lists the Top 6 worst free agent signings of 2010.

Can you guess who #1 is and why I am mentioning it on a Mets blog?

And you know what – I am not going to second guess them.  I wanted a pitcher, specifically I wanted John Lackey (14-11 with a 4.40 in traditional old man stats that old men like me understand) but I am not going to say that I wasn’t in favor of adding a bat.  Like with all Mets free agents I expect them to come to Flushing and suck.  I’m pretty sure they woud have signed Lou Gehrig after he hit .295 with 29 and 114 in 1938
