What Mets fans talk about when not talking about the actual games.
I know , I know…..they Hybrid helmets? no…..its the 1 thing that keeps coming to my mind. has to be like the 53rd time this is happening.
It’s definitely that Castillo is on base.
Mookie’s uniform number was and always should be # 1.
Clearly the error is that Castillo is on base.
this comment wins Josh. Hilarious.
Somebody please tell Castillo to give up that number.
I said the other day, in response to a post on another blog (named after long time Met) that if Castillo wanted to create some good will with the fans (and lord knows he needs it) he should give up his number to its rightful owner. But, he is not that smart.
Umm, Luis sucks and no.1 belongs to a man who was part of one of the most amazing plays ever?
Chip Hale should have offered to trade with Mookie so he could have #51. 🙂
(I don’t care how bad he is, you don’t take a veteran player’s number to give it to a coach.)
Is it that the stiff Castillo is still with the Mets? Nahhh, It must be that Castillo thinks he deserves that number that he is wearing? I think we start the campaign and shame Castillo to give up his number to the REAL number 1 on the Mets, The Mook!!!!!
It appears Mookie is striding out to Castillo to rip the 1 directly off his back.
That, of course, would be what’s right with this picture.
Castillo in a Mets uniform seems pretty damn wrong.
With less of a jump Mookie appears that he can still out run Castillo.
Clearly, the problem is that Mookie is wearing black sleeves under a jersey with blue writing on it, which runs counter to every rule of baseball uniformdom.
Seriously, the Mets need their own version of Garanimals: tags on everything that say “this top goes with this undershirt,” “this cap goes with this jersey.” I swear, it’s like they get dressed in the dark (which considering the Mets financial situation, could actually be the case, I suppose).
hilarious
