Reportedly, the Mets’ home unies will more closely resemble the 1960s version, with pinstripes, the familiar Mets script logo in blue and orange minus the black shadowing, and blue hats. There will also be a white, pinstripe-less top for home games, and the black uniform tops will remain an alternate jersey.

This matches what I have been hearing. The black stays in rotation, but at a lesser clip. Since I have proposed this compromise in the various forms of the Treaty of Flushing I’m fine with it.
I can’t find my notes, but my understanding is the patch is a skyline, some use of 50th Anniversary, and has some gold trim. I’m told it looks quite nice.
I will be at the event on Wednesday and am an excited combination of thrilled/stunned that I get to be there.
