The Mets could use a lesson on painting themselves into a corner as well. Don’t say a guy is definitely going to be out all season when he may not have to be if everything goes well. Had the company line from the start been, “We don’t expect him to pitch in
2014, but recovery is an individual process so we’re not committing to
