Osh41 sent this to me for no reason – I think this design aged well. The home swoosh was terrible, but these look OK here a quarter century later (wow thats scary that it has been that long.) Not sure I love the swoosh thru the Y although I don’t have a better idea.
Put it this way, if the NL expanded into New York in 1993 and these were presented to us as the road jerseys for our club we would have thought they were nice.
But let me clear: THE CURRENT HOME PINSTRIPES AND ROAD UNIFORMS ARE PERFECT AND SHOULD BE LEFT ALONE FOR ALL TIME (except for Anything Goes Sundays where the Mets would wear throwbacks and alts and gimmicks etc.)
What’s with the patches? I don’t remember all that.
