SLACKISH REACTION: Did you see got a three year $93 million deal. Now I remember that last season Jacob de Grom’s agent said the Mets should either sign JDG to a long term deal or trade him. I bet JDG’s new agent will find that a very interesting position. Is Wags going to convince Jeff to write a $100M check? Do we even WANT To tie up $100M in one player? Or should the Mets just trade Jake now? This, and the unnecessary drama added one cause the Mets did a silly GM hire, will be the main story line in the upcoming season of Mets.
In other news, I started watching House of Cards and it feels tacked on. My early take is they shouldn’t have made it.
