SLACKISH REACTION: Congrats to JDG who won the Cy. But it sure seems like a lot of people knew it was coming. There were bobbleheads by 7:30. T-Shirts almost immediately. A lot of people did a lot of work for something that wasn’t a sure thing…..unless of course, it was.
All this overshadows my discussion of Mets Blue.
HOUSE OF CARDS: Spoilers in this sentence coming up. OK if you’re still reading that’s on you. Did they try to make Season 6 really bad? Some extra hacky writing and lame plots and alliances. They should have just walked after S5. I wrote the above last night, now that it’s sunrise I still can’t believe how awful that ending (and final season) was.

And you know my “baseball does not have stars” argument – Apple likes to “correct” this guy’s name to Jason DeGrom. I bet that doesn’t happen with the word LeBron. In fact it just capitalized the B for me.
