Report: Baseball Lineups will have to go to the commissioner’s office first.

Well good news for Lineup Tweet Haters….

…each team’s lineup will first have to go to the commissioner’s office rather than the team’s own public relations office or to the media. (Via NBC Sports)

The report says that lineups have to go to the league 15 minutes before the media gets it so that gambling lines can be set….but Pete Rose can’t be in the Hall of Fame…..

So what happens when Player X slips and tells Gelbs that Player X isn’t playing today, or is batting third…

I know of some gentlemen who would be very interested to hear what Gelbs has to say.  (Read that in Fat Tony voice).

Something tells me that this is going to have all sorts of unforeseen consequences, none of which will be good.   And I’m not sure how fan friendly this is.

Also, if you’re betting on baseball please call the National Helpline on Gambling as you really do have a problem.  No, you really do.
