I’m starting to wonder if Gary isn’t seeing the ball well. He had some bad calls (not just on Home Runs) in Washington where it seemed like he didn’t know where the ball is, and take a listen to this one and watch the ball. Gary is clearly watching the outfielder.
Shouldn’t a deep home run by JDG warrant something other than It Is High It Is Far At the track at the wall as if it’s just another home run?
I know the Gare Force is getting mad at me but Gary is off his game. Something is up. Or he’s gotten lazy and is content to be the John Sterling of the Mets where describing the play is less important than getting to the phrase Its Outta Here by rote.
