You don’t own this 1962 Mets dinner program

“Nassau County adopts The Mets Dinner” program dated “April 16, 1962” which was prior to the new franchise’s opening day. The cover is signed by many NY Mets including Casey Stengel, Gil Hodges (a gorgeous 10 sig in bold, blue ink), coach Rogers Hornsby, Roger Craig, coach Red Ruffing, Richie Ashburn, Chris Cannizzaro, Bob Miller, Jim Hickman and Bob Moorhead. All sigs are done in blue/black ink rating an overall 7-8 unless otherwise noted. The cover has an illustration printed on it done by famed artist Willard Mullin who has also signed the cover adjacent to his facsimile signature in black ink rating an 8. The back cover features Casey with Kathy Kersh, Miss Rheingold 1962 who has added her signature in blue ink rating a strong 9. The program is EX+ with some yellowing around the edges. Accompanied by a LOA from JSA.

Mets Guy in Michigan: Wardrobe consultation needed for magical Tuesday Mets game

Will asked a rhetorical question. Would I like to join him at Wrigley on Tuesday to see the Mets?

The answer was a no-brainer. But the more difficult question is what to wear. Or, more precisely, which Mets jersey to wear.

I don’t want to spoil the choices Mets Guy has but to me the answer is an unequivocal (A).  To pick the others invites ridicules from Chicagoans and perhaps even viewers to SNY.  Remember when the dude wore the swoosh jersey in the front row last year?

Good read..check it out.   Thanks to @ceetar for the heads up.
