So do the Mets just suck at branding?  Are they unwilling or unable to control their players?

Suddenly Pete goes to Baltimore and he’s able to say Go O’s without an F in the middle.

On the other hand, he doesn’t seem to be able to say Orioles, he says Earls…which locals might tell me is proper, which would be even more annoying since he came to my team and vulgar’d all over it.

This is very disappointing.  One time a brash new owner said he would be disappointed if the Mets didn’t win the World Series in five years.  We are now in YEAR SIX of that man’s plan, and these words are not acceptable to me.

The mindset for this organization should be WE ARE GOING TO WIN THE WORLD SERIES.  Once you open the door to “well, if we make the third wild card…” than you have accepted less than excellence.

I don’t want to “go deep.”  Win the World Series.  ALL other outcomes is a failure.

Settling Steve, I have seen 4 full decades go by.  Getting better every year is not acceptable.  Win it all.

Here’s the Spring Training Cap.

Now some of you Negative Nellies might be saying “hey, why can’t we just have a cap with an NY on it instead of this stupid Mr. Met logo” but you are wrong.

You see friends, Lindor is out for a while…and Pete is gone…so right now everything the Mets do is great and perfect.  There will be no making fun of the Mets until further notice.

Bad news everyone.  Out on 126th Street this morning, Seaver Way Steve saw his shadow which means the Mets will not win a World Series for at least 6 more years.
