CITI FIELD TO BE FEATURED ON ABC’S THE BACHELORETTE

I wonder if this is how Sandy Alderson might try to find a bat or two for the lineup in the future.

Home of the New York Mets to Serve as Backdrop to
Episode’s Dramatic Rose Ceremony

FLUSHING, N.Y., June 11, 2015 – The New York Mets and Metropolitan Hospitality today announced that Citi Field will be featured in an upcoming episode of the hit romance reality series, The Bachelorette. The episode is scheduled to air Monday, June 15, 2015, at 8/7c on ABC.

The episode will highlight the ballpark following a New York filled week of dates with the newest Bachelorette, Kaitlyn Bristowe. Citi Field is the first ballpark to serve as the setting for the much-anticipated rose ceremony before the remaining suitors continue on their quest for love.

The cocktail party takes place in one of the many luxurious event spaces that Metropolitan Hospitality offers all year throughout the ballpark, and the rose ceremony takes place on the field itself. Citi Field has hosted over 1,350 events and the ballpark amenities include more than 200,000 square feet of hospitality space for meetings, celebrations and trade shows.

About The Bachelorette:
Romance, rivalry and, quite possibly, true love! One lucky woman gets the opportunity to find the man of her dreams — and, she hopes, her groom-to-be — in this hit reality series. This single and eligible bachelorette — a confident, successful and sensitive woman who is ready to find love — will embark on a romantic journey as she meets 25 handsome and charming men. As the Bachelorette gets to know each one, she’ll continue to narrow the field. They will travel to exotic locations and spend time getting to know each other; she will introduce them to her family and friends and meet some of theirs. At the end of her romantic voyage, if she has found Mr. Right, will there be a proposal — and from whom? Hosted by Chris Harrison, The Bachelorette is produced by Next Entertainment in association with Warner Horizon Television. The 11th season of The Bachelorette airs Mondays at 8/7c on ABC.

Planholder Invite to Kids Q and A of Mets Players This Saturday

Pretty timely after the last few posts on here about Plan holders. Looks like the Mets are listening a bit with the perks for partial plan holders. I just got this invite from my ticket rep. If they keep this up then they are moving in the right direction. Next if they can figure out a way to do something for the plan holders when they have promotions like 66% off for some games, we will be all set.

On Saturday, June 13, you are invited to join us for a “Q & A” session with Mets players and coaches at Citi Field where kids will ask the questions!

This will take place from 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. prior to the Mets vs. Braves game at 4:10 p.m.
Please note: You must have a game ticket to attend this event. If you do not have a game ticket you may exchange your plan tickets for tickets to this game (more than 48 hours in advance).

A follow up e-mail will be sent with additional check in details.
