What Mets fans talk about when not talking about the actual games.
Just wanted you all to know Mr. MetsPolice himself, Shannon Shark is away for a few days. You know what that means, right? Good ole’ Goon is in charge. And what happens when I am in charge? The Mets announce stuff like crazy…. So guys, if you need to get in touch with the Mets Police about any Mets, QBC, or Matt Harvey news, hit me up at @mediagoon on twitter or at mediation@gmail.com. Thanks…
Game used Lucas Duda home alt jersey.
I pulled the free tee shirt Friday Shirts off the promo schedule. I like the neon one and the David Wright one. The Mets have come along way with those designs from a few years ago. Another thing Shannon Shark could have written about.
Man, as usual when Shannon goes away the Mets decide to just keep posting stuff.( just got the press release so I also copied and pasted to make it easier to read)
Here’s the promo schedule
A Lagares bobblehead,a deGrom garden gnome and a 1986 World Series bobble head seem to be the best promos so far. I know they add promos during the season. I also wonder if the david Wright replica jersey will be made just like the Seaver one they gave away in the groups last season. That was a chintzy jersey. And the concert series are back. Meh. Just realized that I missed the Mets Fedora.

Guess who went away this morning? That’s right, Shannon Shark. You know what that means right? The Mets make an announcement. The tweak to the the uniform is the pinstripes going back to being white and getting rid of the cream”ivory” color that was around for the last few years.
Then they released the new hats.
The Mets have a new take on the BP cap adding orange to the front panel and they also added a new road alt cap to match the road blue jerseys.
I personally like that new alt road alt cap.( I’ve been wearing something similar with my alt road blues that I have.) I wonder how Shannon would react. I think he’d be okay with it but will have same reaction I do with the BP caps. It reminds me of the workout BP cap from this years all star game. I wasn’t excited about it but I own one.
And finally here’s a pic of all the unis and hats together.
The hats and jersey go on sale on 11/21 at the CitiField team store and online.
