You guys getting ready for the QBC’16? We are officially one month away from it.  We will be announcing the panels and the moderators for them  in the next few days. The first panel we can reveal is… I’d Just as Soon Kiss a Mookie Podcast. This is going to be the first episode that Shannon Shark and Jason Fry do in front of “a live studio audience”.(I really hope no laugh track is needed). This podcast is a mashup of Star Wars and Mets talk and can be found here. More panels will be announced in the days to come.

Mets Fan: If quite convenient, sir.

Wilpon: It’s not convenient. And it’s not fair! If I raised ticket prices for it, you’d think yourself ill used, wouldn’t you? But you don’t think me ill used if I pay for a power hitter out of my pocket, hmm?

Mets Fan: ‘Tis only once a year, sir.

Wilpon: That’s a poor excuse for picking a man’s pocket every off season.

Mets Fan : Yes, sir. I’m sure I’m very sorry, sir, to cause you such an inconvenience. It’s #metstwitter more than me, sir. They put their hearts into the team as it were, sir.

Wilpon: Yes, and put their hands into my pockets as it were, sir. I suppose you’d better have an avg player or two but be back next summer.

Mets Fan: I will indeed, sir. Thank you, sir! It’s more than generous of you, sir.

Wilson : Yes, I know it is, you don’t have to tell me.

The Mets agreed to sign free agent OF Alejandro De Aza to a one-year, $4.5 million contract on Tuesday morning, according to multiple reports, pending De Aza passing a physical.

There goes my old age and walker jokes. Is that money saved now going to be money spent?
