They just announced the mets line up and there sounded like a nice polite golf clap ovation. Pretty empty here so far.

Randy from readtheapple and I were texting back and forth last night talking about the Mets.
The topic of the sleepover came up. Now I thought it was for $150 as a plan holder you could have up to three people go to the over nighter and get three tickets to the Aug 28th game. Nope. Randy set me straight on that one.

So I poked around and tried to see what the three tickets would cost.
Over $500 for seats in the 300’s plus the sleepover night. Another good idea by the Mets that is poorly executed.i know they have to pay for the lights, personnel, etc, etc. This is like the charity softball event they were promoting that I feel was way overpriced also. Another good idea with poor execution.

This just came into my email. I am pretty good with keeping up with bands and I still have no clue if I have heard an OAR song in my life.

Someone I know just asked me if it seems weird that the Mets keep sending out these special outings and packages. I think the Mets are trying to get money from wherever is possible. What do you guys think?

I heard on the Howard Stern Show in the last few weeks that Howie Mandel’s wife was associated with Josh Satin’s father at work. Howie claimed on the show that Josh was going to be a superstar.
