Once again that Greg Prince guy from Faith & Fear gets in my brain and then proves he’s a much better writer.
Those who know me know I believe in the “that was a loss anyway” games – it’s the one’s that you blow (say Santana gives you a zero) that wreck your season.

I told Junior this morning that Murph was out for the year. Â He has moved on. Â Ah, kids.
Is anyone else bored with articles that point out that the Mets are playing better at home and/or “the Mets need to play better on the road?”
Much more interesting is that the Mets plan to honor the first Vendorette!
Yesterday I mentioned I’d like to have a nice looking Mets jacket. Â One once existed at some point this century (there were lots of them last century). Â However the link is dead. Â Find this.

I approve of this “Cornerstone” cap. Â It has a nice muted look. Â I wouldn’t recommend an actual MLB team wear it, but if you were hanging out on the weekend and wore this to my house I’d be like “cool cap.”
It also illustrates that blue is a nice color when not purple-ized by adjacency to black.
