So there’s talk that the Mets would have a former player represent each day of the Shea Countdown Clock – so Craig Swan would show up with 27 days left and Hernandez with 17 etc. Presumably that means Mookie would do the last day (topic for another day).

I’m on a mailing list from mlb.com and just about every day I get an email about some new items available from the store.
The jacket on the left has one thing going for it – no black. I’m noticing more and more non-black attire. That’s a good thing.
However, it’s plaid. If you are seen wearing this at Shea, the Mets Police will make fun of you.
As for last night’s game, Jose Reyes owes me a dollar. I had a wager on the game against a co-worker. Sure Zambrano out-pitched Maine, but I feel like blaming Jose.
