Lady Met Bobblehead

Look what showed up in my inbox.  Pretty cool!

Lady Met was often seen with Mr. Met One, the large paper-mache headed fellow you can see in the Mets Museum.

She is apparently a different character than “Mrs. Met” seen here with Mr. Met Two (aka Swishy)

It is unknown if Mr. Met 1.5 was ever seen with Lady Met, Mrs. Met or with any lady mascots at all but that look in his eye makes me think he’s seen a few out of uniform.  Maybe that’s why the Mets got rid of him and brought in the softer version.

Mets pre-game notes for March 16th

The pre-game notes are out early today. Here’s some screenshots for ya of the today’s starter, who’s hot and recap sections.

It’s nice that they are playing someone else for a change. I wonder what the long term solution to being isolated on the east coast will be. It’s a shame too since PSL is nice and it isn’t the Mets’ fault everyone else left.

Dan Murphy is hitting .324 and you will all love him come June.

Mets ticket sales light at Citi Field but let’s be fair

There was no wait at all until 10:25, when a line of just eight people formed. No one camped out overnight like years past; no one spent hours waiting.

….

A Mets’ ticket seller told The Record that online and phone sales — which began Monday — make a wait at the ballpark obsolete.

“The phones were ringing non-stop [Monday],” said the employee, who did not want to be identified. “I was taking one call after another till we closed.”

I wouldn’t expect a huge line in the age of the internet.

The article does say that team has no comment on sales.
