First, the forecast…

My guess is the Mets will play today, although a rain delay likely.  The Mets only have to get to DC tomorrow (day game) and the Phillies only have to get to Philadelphia. (3pm game) so waiting two hours won’t kill anyone.

 

A two hour delay?  Yeah, I could see that.

SLACKISH REACTION:  I had all my Joker memes ready to go and Matt from Mystic went out and threw the rare No Joker.  There wasn’t anything to make fun of.

Today’s game is not on TV at all, it is on Facebook Only.

I did not hear about any Guest Experiences last night as the place was understandably empty.  21,397 paid.

TV OBSERVATION:  Gelbs seems really nice.  However, nobody puts on the Mets and says, “Man, I hope they have Gelbs interview someone for an inning.”  There I said it.  You guys were all thinking it anyway.  Discuss.

Also I put SNY on early, like 6:15 – is the baseball whatever its called show always guys yelling?  I don’t mean Loudmouths, I get where that might be yelling, I mean the 6pm thing with Brian Williams’ kid and not-Carton guy.

The forecast for tonight is 40 degrees with showers.  That’s a lousy Guest Experience.

However there is a “100%” chance of rain tomorrow at noon and 1pm and you may recall the Mets were snowed out yesterday.

Thus, I believe the Mets will play tonight.  Wear a warm coat.

Let’s ignore the prices for a moment.  If a TUB has 460 calories and a BUCKET has 1450, how big is this bucket?

I’ll have to ask the T-Shirt guy since he gets invited to all the insidery Citi Field events like yesterday’s secret New Balance Event

Maybe he and Nas got some of that Wilpon Popcorn last week at the food event.  I wasn’t invited and if i had been invited I would have sold out for (half) a steak sandwich and not had the popcorn anyway.

 

Oh yeah,  forgot about this horrible annoyance.

Wednesday’s game is on Facebook Only (and the radio) which is realy annoying if you’re the sort of fellow who works, wants to watch the game AND do hilarious in game tweets.  Grrrrr.

Scott Braun, John Kruk and Cliff Loyd (aka SJC) have the coverage with Alexa of Bralexa fame in the Gelbs role – and don’t forget Alexa left without sayin goodbye.  At least Brandon is still with us.
