What Mets fans talk about when not talking about the actual games.
Congratulations to Vulgar Pete Alonso who can go curse up a storm in Seattle as the Mets’ lone All Star. Pete will also get to partake in the Home Run Derby which is the one thing he does well….as hitting softly tossed juiced baseball is very entertaining, but it does not help your team win a World Series.
Not sure what’s going on here. It’s not the worst thing I’ve ever seen but probably would work better on a woman than a dude.
Hey – don’t worry about this SNY YouTubeTV thing (the channel has been removed) – you won’t even miss it. Let’s take a look at July.
Today the game is on SNY. It’s also July 4th weekend. Let it go.
Tomorrow? ESPN
Monday there’s no game.
July 4th you have better things to do.
Then they are on the West Coast playing Arizona and the Padres. Late night games. No big loss.
Then it’s the All Star Break and July is half over!
The Dodgers are in Queens on the 14th and AppleTV, Fox and then Channel 11 have the games so you’re good all weekend.
July 18th the White Sox are in town and that’s the first time you might care.
The Red Sox come in, and you’ll miss the Friday game, but the other two are Channel 11 and ESPN
Than the Yankees. Well, YTTV doesn’t have YES either so those two days might annoy you.
And now it’s already July 29th, the Mets are sellers and they are playing the Nationals. You can check out. There will be football on your TV in a week. You’re good to go until Opening Day.
AND, you might just find, you don’t miss it. I stopped watching and now I don’t even think to put the games on. Totally broke the habit.. You are FREE. Enjoy the extra 3 hours a day to do other things. Trust me, you will be fine.
Wow I am tempted to use a word associated with Pete Alonso that would go between GO and YOURSELF to Major League Baseball.

Anyway, baseball obviously hates its fans…and doesn’t at all understand that one of the cool things about the All Star Game used to be seeing your favorite team’s players in their regular uniforms.
Well, now we have $509 generic league jerseys. I am so glad I stopped watching this sport. I should probably post an affiliate link, I’d get like a $50 commission…not that anyone is going to buy these.
