Operation Take Back New York was a total failure

Saw this via someone named Adam Rubin, who is not part of the Mets beat but seems to out hustle them.  Blue cap tip to whoever he is.

Anyway, remember those 5 minutes when this was a Mets town?  This is a town of Frontrunners, always was, always will be.

The New York Yankees top the New York Mets 53 – 34 percent among New York City baseball fans, according to a Quinnipiac University Baseball Poll released today.

This photo is from 2010. I needed an image for the post.

Here’s a nice read about the Guest Experience at Citi Field.

The lines at the concession stands are so long, one has to resign themselves to missing large swaths of the game in order to – God forbid – get something to eat or drink. The lines are long due to the volume, we understand that, but Aramark did not staff up properly for the event. And most of the staff that was in place were clueless, extremely slow and overall not very helpful.

Mets Police Morning Laziness: Matt From Mystic Monday & More Guest Experiences

No longer claiming to be a superhero, Matt from Mystic, just your average 4th starter with a below .500 career record pitches tonight.

SLACKISH REACTION:  Since the media gave Mickey Hodges all the credit for the two wins (Mickey made the Cardinals pitchers wild) I can only blame Mickey for this loss.  It is all one him as much as the wins were all his.  Thor has a 6 ERA by the way.

22,486 was the announced attendance.

MetsPolice.com had it’s biggest month since November 2015 – THANK YOU.  More than double the traffic of March 2016, and I am especially excited about this because websites in general have declining traffic (think about it, you don’t go to websites, they kind of come to you via social media) – so to be up that much year to year is awesome.  I had mentioned that the whole boycott thing had reenergized me, and now with Guest Experiences being a fun topic, I am jazzed more than I have been in a long time.  I’m not sure if Real Life will let me keep posting 7x a day like I have been lately but I shall attempt to keep it up.

Todd Frazier violated rule 4.06

Nothing too NOT LINK to as the beat must have had Sunday dinner plans.  That’s ok.

GUEST EXPERIENCES:

I know you guys will decide that I am just whiny, I get it.  Don’t forget you same guys called me a shill all winter (#metsfansunited).  Anyway, here’s someone else’s blog going on at length about Citi Field.

Niko was unhappy with the peanuts he was sold, as they were well past the “best by” date.  Again this is Game 3.  Have these peanuts been sitting in a closet all winter?

Not really the Mets’ fault but this could be annoying.

And because I am the King of Fairness…
