Mets will test drive my idea for Friday Day Games!

I guess it’s too nice and warm to play baseball today, but the good news is tomorrow will be a great test drive of my dream that the Mets add some FRIDAY DAY GAMES to the schedule.

If you have every been to a FRIDAY DAY GAME at Wrigley in the Summer you know how awesome it is.  Chicago has a culture of half days and/or holding business meetings at the game.  You’re done by 5 (in olden times, I guess now by 4) and then you go hit the bars in Wrigley and then you still have your Friday night!

Hopefully, tomorrow, everyone – including the Mets – will realize Friday Day Games are the way!

Mets rain out Opening Day early!

Great job Mets. Gives your fans lots of time to adjust. No need to torture the fans in the rain. Also, this is probably about pitching let’s be honest. Anyway good job Mets!

The Mets thought I was out for the evening. Had you waited one more minute Mets you would have had me!

Jacob deGrom pitched against the Orioles. How did he do? You’ll look!

Jacob deGrom returned like he’s the Dark Knight or something.  Let’s see how he did..

Not bad. But can you do that ten more times?

Apparently he can!

Jake even struck out the side twice.

Do you like watching people swing and miss? Here…

6 innings, 2 hits, 1 run, earned, 2 walks and 11 strikeouts. Too bad you guys let him throw 100 in March, so he will be on the IL in May.

Is Steve Cohen tired of the black Mets jerseys? (Real source)

The host, the T Shirt Guy, tells a story of a young fan telling Steve Cohen that he doesn’t like the black jerseys. According to TTSG, Steve says he is getting tired of them. That’s fantastic news

TTSG then talks about how black stuff sells – which I totally get. As the hosts discuss, black is good for civilian wear, whereas orange isn’t. I get it. Cool. Sell black stuff to fans.

They discussed the blackouts and how it doesn’t pop (hey I know a guy that’s been saying that for 16 seasons) and mentioned that the tv director appears.

Yes!!!!! Yes to all of this. Have an orange out. Wear traditional uniforms on field. Sell all the alternate color civilian wear that you want. I think we can all agree here Steve.
