Let’s give it up for Ceetar – he rocked it yesterday, and it was great to be able to share some of the cool stuff that happens behind the scenes at Citi. I was around, I just didn’t have anything better than what he posted…so big hand, and everyone visit Optimistic Mets Fan (his site.)

Well, summer is over so it’s back to the Saturday Donuts & Soccer routine. I’m off to a soccer tourney with Junior, and already made the Donuts Run (hey Donuts Chain, come on how about an ad?)…speaking of which this unnamed Donuts chain tasks me. Awesome find by Eric.

The Mets, Blue Banners, and Tuesday’s Children

Before the game Thursday night, Some of the Mets signed and took pictures for Tuesday’s Children, a charity organization involved with the families impacted by the 9/11 terrorist attacks. Several of the Mets players were kind enough to talk with, sign for, and take pictures with some of these families.

What’s blue and goes swoosh?

Since blue is all the rage this week – here’s a recent purchase I made.

A blue swoosh? It’s retro ironic!I had to buy it for kitsch. I’m actually enjoying wearing it.

I also realize I am becoming “the guy that always wears Mets stuff” around town. I wanted to wear Mets gear yesterday but instead I wore Star Wars. I love the Mets but don’t want to be “that guy.”

The next two scheduled posts are (a) fantastic and (b) from Ceetar who was out at Citi last night covering a blogger event.

I’d like to thank the Mets for inviting me to these events this season. I couldn’t make all of them but really appreciated everything they did this season.

I expect site traffic to drop off a cliff as it does every holiday weekend, but we’ll be posting at the normal schedule because we’re nutty.
