@mediagoon says this happened yesterday but I think he photoshopped it. Read the Post to learn more about the reported dog problem.

JOHN FRANCO TO THROW OUT THE FIRST PITCH TO MIKE PIAZZA
DURING SEPTEMBER 11 REMEMBRANCE CEREMONY
7:30 P.M. AT CITI FIELD
FLUSHING, N.Y., August 31, 2011 – The New York Mets today announced John Franco will throw out the ceremonial first pitch to Mike Piazza during the September 11 remembrance ceremony at 7:30 p.m. before the Mets host the Chicago Cubs at Citi Field. Franco and Piazza played on the 2001 Mets and were instrumental in the club’s relief efforts after September 11.
The Franco-to-Piazza first pitch is part of the organization’s plans to mark the 10th anniversary of September 11, honoring the memory of those lost and injured, and celebrating the heroes, survivors and rescue and recovery workers.
Mets players will pay tribute to New York City’s uniformed service men and women by wearing caps representing their organizations following the tradition started by the 2001 team.
The Mets and members of the Mets Alumni Association Presented by Citi will continue the outreach efforts started by the club 10 years ago by visiting local firehouses on Friday, September 9.
The Mets will release more details of their September 11 remembrance ceremony in the coming days.
Tickets for the Sunday, September 11 game between the Mets and Cubs are available online at Mets.com and by phone at (718) 507-TIXX.
