Various photos from tonight’s Mets game

@mediagoon is “on assignment” as they say in the news business (seems to be code for “day off”) – anyway he is on assignment at Citi Field and is tweeting pics.

So far we have….this crowd shot from around 6:50pm

and another view

There’s always the old “everyone is at the Shake Shack” excuse.  Let’s check…

And @mediagoon checked out the pastrami

You can follow this exciting action on twitter:  @mediagoon

I of course am the catchy @metspolice

If you’re not near a TV – Mets are wearing blue caps with pinstripes.  All hail Kevin Kierst even if the starting pitcher allegedly chooses the uniform and all starting pitchers have suddenly decided they like blue caps at home.

The Mets suggest you try the swordfish

I love the intertubes. I love stuff like this. I love that I can tell who is handling the Mets twitter feed just by what’s tweeted…and my favorite tweeter seems to be on duty tonight.

Via @newyorkmets: Going to the Acela Club tonight? Treat yourself to the Grilled Atlantic Swordfish with Roasted Beets & Fava Beans.

Media Goon is at the game with his fancy “camera” technology. Goon I expect some major minutiae for tomorrow!
