What Mets fans talk about when not talking about the actual games.

Wow. Paul nails it.

The Mad Prophet has done it again! MLB must have read last week’s articles about The Premier League Of Baseball here and here and borrowed some ideas.
I think all these ideas are great and should be in place for ALL 162 GAMES – with a two hour minimum for our TV partners and ticket holders.
MLB announced spring training games thru March 13 can be shortened to 5-inning or 7-inning games if both managers agree. Games from March 14 thru end of spring training can be shortened to 7-inning games. All spring training games can end in a tie once scheduled length is completed

When I was young I used to waste my youth watching practice games. Now that I am older and wiser I realize that there is no point in tuning in to see number 87 pitch to number 74. And of course radio is dead to me thanks to the malfeasance of WOR’s tenure what with the distorted signal and whatnot.
But if you must…

Want to look like a real Mets fan and not some poser trying to blend in? You are going to need this! Thanks to @buccaneers87 for sending over. Buy one before @mediagoon buys them all.

Are you a fool with way too much money? Are you for some reason opposed to donating to the local charity/church/food pantry/homeless shelter/animal rescue/local business kickstarter?
Well, then I have great news for you. You can waste your money on this! (Even Mediagoon doesn’t waste money on this, and he has seven Lindor jerseys already.)
Now look, I am sure that someone will point out the money is going to the Mysterious Mets Foundation or something – but let Steve Cohen write that check. And I am sure the Mets aren’t picking up the cardboard part and your entire FORTY DOLLARS goes to the Mysterious Mets Foundation.

So how about none of you do this, and you send $40 to The North Shore Animal League where I have adopted some awesome dogs over the years.

One person per cutout. Wear your Mets gear or colors.
