Gil Must Go: maybe I was wrong about McGraw in the rotation

Yikes, I may have been wrong about McGraw.  TWO innings?  If you’re only going to pitch two innings you might as well be in the bullpen.  I cannot wait for the One True Ace Jerry Koosman to get back.

Meanwhile, maybe flip him with the Ryan kid?

Not much to say here….a three hour game, 15-3, Wayne got a hit of course, and so much for .500.  Oh well.

Mets Police Morning Laziness: red hot Mets cannot be stopped, playoff tickets on sale Friday

I think it’s insane that a sport goes out of its way to play Thursday at noon.  I get that they want school kids to come and the Nats have to be in DC by 7pm Friday but it seems nutty.

SLACKISH REACTION:   I will let everyone else write the same Rajai Davis Uber ride story with the Cinderella ending.   The Mets are just two games under .500 with a three game winning streak.  Cancel your comedy tour because a big Mets fan like you needs to be seen with Darren Saturday.

I should mention Cano.  Cano has been mentioned.

Harvey Day was rained out!!!!  Apparently it rained in Anaheim of Los Angeles earlier in the day and the field was unplayable because they don’t bother with fancy rainage systems out west.  TDKOALA has an afternoon game today.  Exciting.

BAD MEDIA:  The Media has the Yahoo story wrong but they are all copying each other.  It’s not my story to tell but the version you are reading everywhere is wrong.

And finally, good news for Lyin’ Todd Frazier.  I have been distracted…

Prevention And Recovery: Mets place Nimmo on IL, think Rajai Davis is good idea

Mets Insiders tell me the Mets have placed Brandon Nimmo on the IL with a stiff neck.

They have called up Rajai Davis because Wags focused on depth….and Paul Sewald has been sent to DFA Island.

Also, Mickey said the Mets will now treat games like playoff games and the Diaz Can Only Pitch Three Outs rule has been discontinued.

We need to talk about these London Series caps

So you probably saw the London Series caps…I don’t mind them. Kinda interesting. Kinda trying too hard. Do you want Manchester United to come to NYC and play in Stars and Stripes kits? But these aren’t bad….

…however WTF is this?

Mets Police does not condone violence but feel encouraged to make Marge Simpson Face at anyone seen with that.

But again its trying way too hard.
