Every Mets fan freak out! Syndergaard talking about Free Agency after 2021!

NBC Sports sourcing the Athletic says:

Syndergaard said, “I trust my ability and the talent that I have. So I feel like I’m going to bet (on) myself in free agency and not do what they did. But if it’s fair for both sides and they approach me on it, then maybe we can talk.” He clarified that he would be open to a conversation about an extension, but the Mets thus far haven’t approached him about it. In his words, “There’s been no traction.”

The THEY he refers to are Nola and Severino who signed early.

Thor is under Mets control through the end of the 2021 season.  There will be two rebuilds between now and then so remain calm.  Plus SNY reports he could be traded to the Yankees.

Move along.

Here’s my stereotype-free go-to Mets cap for the Spring

As you know, I prefer MY Mets caps to be without ethnic stereotypes even if @neweracap @mets and @the7line have no issues selling them with images based in historical hatred.

It’s actually more Day-Glo than the photo makes it look. (I tried to brighten it/enhance it but it’s still more BRIGHT than this looks – both the orange and the blue.)   I have been in an orange mode and this felt Spring to me.  Plus no ethnic stereotyping on it, which is a must for anyone with a cap.

I got it as part of the Lids $10 sale…HOWEVER Lids you are killing me.  They put three caps in one box.  Good for the environment, bad for me because Mrs. Mets Police opened the box.  I could have gotten away with one cap but THREE?

Little does she know I actually bought FIVE CAPS Mwahahahahahaha.   You know all those ad-links I encourage you to click on so I get affiliate sales from MLB?   That’s what I do with the money.  I buy more caps.

Hey Mets, STFU with the New Culture talk and win some baseball games

It seems that Mickey Hodges gave the team a speech yesterday – and guess what, the Mets want to win!

“We’re trying to change the culture,” Todd Frazier said. “Winning. I think we all can attest to that. That’s what we want to do.” (via Hartford Courant)

Dude, STFU!
Do you not remember WE CHANGED THE CULTURE LAST YEAR.   Salt and Pepper.  Grinding it out.  Banishing the rookie who over slept.  Starting 11-1.  Mickey Hodges.
All I read about last April was the Mets’ new culture led by YOU Lyin’ Todd (the new culture involves tricking umpires) and Mickey Hodges.  How did that turn out?
So far the New New Culture involves signing ex-clients.  If that doesn’t work out we will be talking about New Cultures until Bonilla comes off the books.
