All hail the weather gods!
I feel bad for those of you who spent $5 on a St. John’s baseball game, but for the good of the Mets karma, and to start the new place off properly, the first game at C-Field should be a Mets game.
Right now the forecast calls for rain Saturday night, and 80% chance of precipitation all day Sunday.
The Wilpons aren’t going to chase a gate and let their new field get torn up by college students, are they? They won’t make you drive to Flushing, pay for parking, and then sit there in a drizzle, will they?
Call this one early, and let the first event at C-Field be the Mets. See ya there Friday night!
My friend just dropped off my tix for Sunday, so I really hope they just open the gates and let people mill about, even if the game is canceled. That is all I am going for anyway!
