As I have been saying all day, Citi Field now feels like the home of the Mets. Â It’s all the little touches that add up.
Renaming the gates goes a long way – here’s the Hodges entrance on the first base side. Â You’ll find Seaver on the right hand side. Â Also on the first base side are new colorful banners including one of a retro Mr. Met. Â I apparently didn’t take any good photos off that – will work on that for you.
The Apple looks fantastic in the new place – very bright and red and seems somehow bigger.
