QBC 14 | The 7 Line

Darren from The 7 Line weighed in on the Queens Baseball Convention.  I did a lengthy excerpt from his post…

The guys over at Mets Police asked if I’d like to be on board with their vision, and I told them I’d do my best to help out in any way that I can. They’ve really ran with the idea while I’ve been neglecting my duties.

Mets fans don’t have many events to look forward to during the winter and we wanted to change that. This is a gathering organized by the fans for the fans. Now comes the promotional home stretch. This event IS GOING TO BE FUN. There is no doubt about that. We now just really need to get the word out to the masses, YOU.There is a little something for everyone at QBC.

Presentations, panels/signing sessions with Ed Kranepool & Ron Darling, exhibits, dunk tank filled with infamous folks from Twitter, trivia, a jersey parade, scavenger hunt & face painting for the kids……

The one event that is officially sponsored by The 7 Line is the “dating game”. Some of our single calendar girls are bravely putting themselves out there for their love of the Mets… and to possibly meet a potential match. This should be a fun one.

I don’t know who is hosting the game, but I’ll volunteer my services and rent a 1970′s style tux if needed. The committee has some really big things in the works that should hopefully pan out soon. More is added to the schedule almost daily, but for a full list of the current rundown visit QBC14.com

So, go grab a ticket. They’re just $35 and everything for the day is included. Yes, even the ex Met signing sessions. This event WILL sell out and I’m sure you’ll not want want to miss this one!
