The 7 Line will have an official kiosk at Citi Field (really)

Congrats to Darren and The 7 Line crew, MLB, the Mets and/or whoever else got this done.  Very cool.

Darren posted the below on his site, but I’m confident he won’t mind the total lift.

I have some big news. The 7 Line is now an officially licensed MLB brand.

The 7 Line company will still be 100% owned and operated by yours truly. MLB is giving The 7 Line a chance that is very unprecedented, and I am extremely grateful to have this opportunity. If it wasn’t for each and every one of you this would never have been possible. Your loyal support has been my motivation these past few years.

While printing t-shirts in my parents basement back in 2010 I never imagined the brand would have enough steam to get to this level. It’s taken years of hard work and dedication, and I pinch myself daily that this is in fact a “job”.

Since the start we’ve exclusively sold through our website. Well, that is about to change in a very big way. We’re constantly asked why our products aren’t available in stores. I felt that the only way to fully control the brands identity was to be the only retailer and starting this season we’ll have a kiosk inside Citi Field. Now you’ll be able to see, feel and try on our garments before buying. What better place than in our own home? We’ll be located directly behind our group section (Big Apple Reserve) in center field across from Big Apple Brews and the Shake Shack.

This is all as much of a surprise for me as it might be for you. I promise to give 100% towards this brand and stay dedicated to the Mets fan base. We’re all in this together and this is your brand just as much as it is mine.

Thank you,

Darren Meenan

Very cool.  Maybe we’re one day closer to me having the “Office of just check off with me” at Citi Field.  Ha!

  1. .druck808 so T7L can speak for himself, but the brand evolved from the embryo, found its wheelhouse, and grew. (more)

  2. .druck808 things like the Reyes shirts, the Carter8, the Citi outings, the Chi outing..the brand found the zone. I think it’s great.

  3. metspolice druck808 will pricing stay the same? Would think MLB and/or the Mets (both?) would get a piece of the pie.

  4. metspolice I love the brand! Enjoyed the outing last year. Just hope mlb/mets do not get too much input.

  5. @MsMetNJ metspolice druck808  from what I heard from Darren, should be the same.
