how is it safe to bring knitting needles to the park? shouldn’t that be right up there with no knives?

Thats crazy. I’m not saying anyone is going to do any damage with the needles but I can not wrap my head around it.
Wrapping your head around knitting needles is a sure way to hurt yourself with them actually.
