The Mets have been doing community service all week, and I will be sharing more pictures (once I get some quality deck and blogging time.  This “real job” thing is killing me on the blogging.)

TEAMMATES IN THE COMMUNITY WEEK: The Mets will continue to celebrate Teammates in the Community Week today when Mets General Manager Omar Minaya, Chris Carter and Alex Cora will visit a park in Queens to paint a playground and hold a baseball clinic for local Little Leaguers who have devoted their time to improving their park…The project is organized by the City ParksFoundation, which operates in more than 750 parks around the city to present a broad range of free arts, sports and educational programs, and empowers citizens to support their parks on a local level.

  1. I think they should have grabbed that Beagle, and reinstated Homer.
That kid in the front of the group shot is definitely a Yankees fan.

  2. Looks like K-Rod is ready to take Roscoe the Beagle to clean Jerry Seinfeld’s suite up from the Gaga fiasco.
