I’m waking up hearing that Cliff Lee is heading to New York. For a catching prospect.
The Yankees don’t even need Cliff Lee. They will make the playoffs anyway. Cashman is worried about three starts in October. That’s that “win the World Series” mentality I talk about sometimes.
The Mets could use him. You’re a Mets fan, I wont bore you with why.
The championship is there for the taking. I think Lee gets the Mets to the end. I like this team, more than I have liked any Mets team since they traded for Juan Samuel.
Lee brings excitement. Sells tickets. Winning sells tickets. 30,000 the other night. In year 2 of a new stadium with a home grown team.
If Lee comes to Yankees Town – wow.

The fun pitchers are going, there are giveaways, and it’s a battle for first place. The weather wont be beach weather so why not join me out in Flushing. I will be out there on Saturday. I haven’t decided which jersey yet.
Don’t forget the Mets Police Giveaways Tip: unless you are early enter through the RF gate or the Bullpen Gate. Everyone heads to LF or the Rotunda. The giveaway stuff seems to last a little longer at the other gates.
