Mets Yearbook 1973 on at 7pm

Good morning Mets fans,

Remember that Mets team that was dead and buried in August and came back to win the NL? Well that won’t be happening this season, but you can watch Mets Yearbook 1973 at 7pm tonight.

Last night was one of the reasons that future Hall of Famer Jon Niese will only win 283 games.

I still like this idea of hiring someone from the Yankee kingdom to come across town and show us the way. Unless of course you think Jeff is about to go on a hot streak. What’s that Steve Swindall (spelling?) up to? I know he cheated on George Steinbrenner’s wife but prior to that George was going to hand the keys to the team to Steve and not his own sons. He must know something.

Yes that’s crazy talk but I am having a midlife crisis and I want to see another championship while I still have time on this earth….plus it’s only 11 years until the move to Mercury.

  1. As I live in the Braves’ designated “territory,” I never get to see any of these unless they’re being run during a rain delay, and that really sucks. Sometimes I can see specials like “Simply Amazin'” and “Shea Goodbye,” sometimes I can’t. Most old game replays aren’t allowed either. I at least understand the reasoning behind forcing me to watch PeachtreeTV’s sorry 4:3, low-def broadcast when the Braves and Mets are playing, but not being able to see the feature programming on SNY when FSN South is showing “Sports Science” and Peachtree isn’t even on the air is just asinine.
