Agreed Sparks. It’s great to simply see the classic orange and blue lettering and the classic New York — without any black nonsense. It still drives me nutty every time I see one of these and consider that some buffoon in the Mets hierarchy thinks the black drop shadow gives it more flavour.
That Jersey is SO SO awesome!….No Black dropshadow nonsense..Just plain, simple and elegant. Again, just another F’d-UP random dec ision by the Mets since 98 to add black without any rhyme or reason. Why mess with a good thing?
