Good morning Mets fans, it seems like John Lackey would have fit right in behind Santana
For Lackey, last night’s 3-1 loss to the Chicago White Sox marked the eighth time this season the big right-hander was saddled with either a loss or no-decision in games which he surrendered three earned runs or less. He allowed the White Sox one earned run (three overall) while giving up only four hits and fanning seven in a 116-pitch effort. The outing also marked his club-leading 17th quality start of the year.
As we said on the pod cast Lackey would fit perfectly behind Santana in the rotation. He could have been here not getting any run support too
