Why Keith Olbermann should take the Mets Police blogger job

The Times tells us:

The executives involved in the discussions confirmed that the deal carries limitations for Mr. Olbermann in terms of when he can next work on television, though he will be able to take a job in radio or on any forum on the Internet.

Keith,

Remember Conan O’Brien?

He was able to change the story line and keep the media guessing.

Join us.  Write the occassional guest post about Lee Mazzilli.  I know you have Baseball Nerd which I love…but imagine how everyone will react if you pop up over here.

“Keith Olbermann posts at his usual baseball bog” = no buzz.

“Keith Olbermann takes up silly offer” is a winner.

It will be fun and keep everyone guessing.  Yes it’s crazy, that’s why it’s awesome.  DM me on twitter.  So what do you think of Sandy Alderson?

  1. Chief, I have no connection to Keith Olbermann, other than my wife (an admitted communist, but I love her anyway)is suicidal over his leaving her beloved MSNBC, but I would be willing to bet a lot of cash, that at the earliest point in time, (What day are the playoffs supposed to start?) Mr. Olbermann will be back where he wants to be…sports…more specifically, MLB Network. In the meantime, I have to admit it would be fun, if the Yankee fan (Olbermann) decided to take you up on your offer to at least kill time between now and then. It could be like the Cadet or Midshipman that spend the year on the other schools’ campus.

  2. My condolences pfh64 on your communistic wife. Olbermann is a hypocritical jackass when it comes to politics.

I’d rather see him on a sports network. It’s what he’s good at.
