Good morning – the goal for today is not to mention what the Mets wear or what color that might be.
Here’s one of those “stumbled across this while looking something else up” posts. This card gives me chills. I loved this card.

with the black arm band on his sleeve,was that a 1972 picture ?

Mets wore the black armbands in 72 for Hodeges and in 76 for Stengel/Payson who passed away in 1975.
