Value $747 Million…I suppose that is the team only, not including the stadium or SNY.
How did they calculate this number? It is a total moving target…for example, trading K-Rod makes the number go up, temporarily anyway. Of course, the value to the Wilpons is much less, because we must subtract out all the debt and liabilities (Bobby Bo’s contract?). It’s like owning a house valued at 1 Million, but you owe the bank 800,000…your equity is only 200,000.
