Tickets from the August 3 Rainout Will NOT be Honored for Admission

FLUSHING, N.Y., August 9, 2011 – The New York Mets today announced that the Mets-Florida Marlins game that was rained out on August 3 has been rescheduled as part of a single-admission doubleheader on Monday, August 29 starting at 4:10 p.m.

 

Only tickets marked “Monday, August 29 – Game 65” will be valid for admission for the 4:10 p.m. make up game and the regularly scheduled game to follow.

 

Tickets from the August 3 rainout will NOT be honored for admission on Monday, August 29.  Fans holding paid tickets from the August 3 rainout may exchange them at any time for tickets comparable in price and location for any future season Mets home game prior to August 3, 2012, subject to availability.

  1. Ghetto Move by the Mets for not honoring a rain check ticket on Aug 3 for the dbl header on the 29th

    Bought $5 Tix for the Family- special Promotion-
    Got there Early spent $70 -$80 easy
    Left around 9 after the game was called

    Tried to get a rainout ticket but was offered “credit” towards the purchase- ALL CLASS –

    I can now have $5 towards off a bunch of $28 dollar tickets- or wait until a $5 game next year- too bad they could have had another easy 70-100 with out making me feel like a chump

    The Beer Sucks at Citi this year anyway; dumb move getting rid of the Brooklyn selections for so many reasons.
