I see it’s another day of foolish talk of the Mets trading David Wright. I know it’s fun to light up twitter and your radio show with such talk but it completely ignores the team option the Mets have on David for 2013.
But why believe me…read this article in the Daily News and see what Mets executives are saying.
This is a non-story, at least for another 17 months. Find something else to be negative about.
Well, it’s a non-story until the end of the season at least. During the off-season, it will be time to re-evaluate again based on the team’s financial picture.
But I still think that if Wright leaves the Mets, it will be as a free agent.
