Darren at The 7 Line has a well stated post about Mets T-shirt Tuesday.
I personally found the second design underwhelming and threw out there on twitter (@metspolice) that perhaps the Mets would benefit from Darren’s design skills.
Anyways, I don’t want to give away Darren’s hand…here’s an excerpt and I hope you’ll read the entire piece and click through to see what he would have done with the Buddy the Dog tee.
I’d like to see this be a success for the team. Attendance is down and anything to get more butts in the seats is a great idea. They just need to get someone behind the graphics that has a better feel as to what the fans want. Shirt #2 was released today. It’s a slightly better effort but again, I don’t think anyone is dying for one.
